Derby Days '09!!

Okay, so maybe it started out as an excuse to have a party, but what a great day! Good people, good race, good food... need I say more! And Matthew won the big money for the day, which is why he spent the next three hours walking around with his hand in his back pocket! That's where he was keeping his stash! Sarah and Matthew's horse, C U At The Finish Line, took second in the "mini-derby"!

There's Tim finding his "muse"! I'm so grateful that he's found an outlet for some of his creative energy, and he's good! We were in the Smokey Mountains for a much needed getaway weekend. I took this picture from the inside of the car where it was 70 degrees, as opposed to outside the car, where it was 25 degrees!

What a perfect day... An egg hunt, candy, church, brunch, and the rest of the day outside in the beautiful weather! It was one of those days when I can't begin to count all of our blessings...

A day in 1892..

In a one room schoolhouse! What a fantastic field trip, complete with authentic dress and lunch! And it was great to get to spend a whole day with my daughter!

Another fabulous spring break had by all!! Sun, beach, volleyball, ice cream, what more can you want?

Our Missy is all grown up!

It's hard to believe that she was so involved in our lives for such an intense, short period of time! But she was a blessing no doubt, helping with Sarah and Matthew right after Matthew was born. I wouldn't trust very many people to care for my children, but God blessed us with Missy! We wish you all the happiness, Missy, keep in touch!!
