This is the story of our family, and I can't imagine a more worthy tale to tell! It's a story of love, laughs, and precious moments in time. Stay tuned as the story unfolds...
I think our friends sometime wonder how I entertain myself while Tim is photographing... Well, now you know! Gumby and I hang out! We spent a lovely five day in Savannah, Georgia and surrounding areas! I enjoyed every minute of the alone time with my husband (Yes, even when he was taking MORE pictures!).
Whew, nothing like a cold one after a day of exploring!
We spent some time at Fort Pulaski, very interesting place to explore! Those holes are from cannonballs, some of which are still stuck in the wall in places!
We loved Tybee Beach so much that we went back for a second day, I'm sure that's no surprise to anyone that we ended up on the beach during a historical vacation!
Another great celebration, it's become quite a tradition! The kids get to race their horses, the parents get to show off their hats, and Matthew wins all of the money.... AGAIN!!
Sarah and Matthew's "horse" for the big race! Note the colors and yes, she was named "Buckeye"!
Another winning hat design... And, no, I really don't have too much time on my hands!
Our annual migration south, and what a fantastic week! The sunshine, the warmth, the sand, the family... couldn't have asked for more! We even tore ourselves away from the beach long enough to visit the Mote Aquarium, and to take on some putt-putt!
"I'll never be a single digit again!", she said with some level of sadness! Lookout tweens here we come! So we brought a birthday cake to Sakura's, and then she had a sleepover with some school friends. The next morning we went to decorate cakes "Ace of Cakes" style at a local bakery!
This story is about my family. I met my husband Tim in 1994, and he's been my hunnybunny ever since! It was a Doctor/Nurse thing, complete with stolen kisses in the scrub room before surgeries! Twue wuv, for sure! We married in 1996, and have been traveling the road to adulthood together ever since. Four houses, two dogs, and two children later, it's Lein's world, party on, excellent!!
